I wrote “Dead and Buried” after completing the initial “Darkwater Cove” novels. By then, I was gaining a strong following among serial killer thriller readers but wanted a way to reach more people.

Since many readers wanted to learn more about Darcy Gellar and the Full Moon Killer, I knew I was on to something. I thought about the fateful night that had changed Darcy forever – the night she came face to face with the legendary murderer, as depicted at the beginning of Darkwater Cove.

Such a frightening event deserved its own buildup, and so I set out to write a thriller ebook and make it available for free on my website. That’s what “Dead and Buried” became. It’s a story I’m quite proud of and one which has thrilled and chilled many fans.
