Cover Art for The Island Revealed

The Island - Horror Short StoryI am proud to reveal the cover art for my forthcoming short story, The Island, scheduled for release in the next 24 to 48 hours.

The Island is two stories for the price of one. The title story tells the tale of a man and his son lost at sea, who take refuge on an uncharted island not far from The Lesser Antilles. As they struggle to find a way back to civilization, they discover disturbing sights: colossal webs that stretch across whole sections of jungle canopy, a decided lack of insect life, and within a strange cave, something far more dangerous. If spiders unsettle you, this story will have you squirming through the finale.

The second story is One Autumn in Kane Grove. Someone is stalking the dark passages of Kane Grove University, murdering its women. As the killings become increasingly grisly, the university and the town begin to blame one another. When the murdered disappear from their graves, some of the students whisper the word, “vampire”. Is something supernatural responsible for the killings? Short and sweet, this foreboding tale has a chilling ending.

Dane at Ebook Launch came through with another fantastic design. I loved his graphic design work on Storberry, and I daresay that the new cover for The Island is even better. He captured the plot perfectly with this concept, and I highly recommend authors consider his artwork for future cover design.
