Elderlemon Design created the excellent cover art for the first episode of my forthcoming post-apocalyptic series, Dark Vanishings.
Elderlemon Design, run by Kealan Patrick Burke, has created novel cover art for horror and thriller luminaries such as Tim Lebbon, Brian Keene, Scott Nicholson, Richard Laymon, Bentley Little, Hugh Howey, J. Carson Black, and Joe McKinney.
I couldn’t be more pleased with the final design, which I believe strongly conveys the atmosphere of Dark Vanishings.
The Dark Vanishings serial will be released in episodes, beginning with book one on May 19. New episodes will be released approximately once per month through the first three books, with the final episodes hitting the shelves this autumn and winter.
I’m very excited about the episodic nature of Dark Vanishings, as it will give you, the reader, something new to experience on a monthly basis. Dark Vanishings is a wide-scoped story which cannot easily be contained to one novel, so it naturally fits the serial model which is becoming increasingly popular in the digital age of e-books.
